Advertiser FAQs

Does EHS use a CPC or CPM sales model?
Primarily, we use a CPM model, which means that advertisers pay based on the number of ad impressions delivered. In some cases, we do use a CPC payment structure in which advertisers pay only when a user clicks on their ad, CPC campaigns are primarily structured as focused run-of-network buys.

Does EHS offer sponsorships?
Sponsorships are essentially 100% share-of-voice placements. EHS offers several standard sponsorship programs and also creates custom sponsorship solutions for interested marketing partners.

What is a pure-play network?
We sell only on behalf of our publishing partners; we don’t build, own or operate our own competitive assets. Without this bias, we can identify the optimal Network placements for achieving marketers’ objectives, and eliminate the possibility of preferential allocation. (Some ad-serving companies that claim to be networks also own and operate their own healthcare portals. This can represent a major conflict of interest, as they may be financially motivated to deliver the most premium-paying campaigns on their own sites, ahead of other sites in their network.)
