According to a recent study by SDI, with a summary published in MM&M communication with physician’s and their preferences on how and when to communicate with pharma, are clearly changing.
“73% of the physicians …said pharma’s electronic promotional activities were equal or superior to traditional face-to-face encounters.”
Statistics like this clearly show that physicians have an increasing preference to communicate on their terms at their convenience… nights, weekends, online. From a marketer’s perspective, the online channel provides a means to reach doctors 24×7… nights, weekends, when your reps are sleeping. There is a better way to communicate!
